Kicks, Pokes, and Shoves!
I really feel like my belly is now a war zone inside of me. Our little one and I are in a fight for space and comfort! It's not like I intentionally try to make the little one mad but I'm not always in a "pregnant" posture or stance. For instance, bending down to put on my shoes earns me a kick in the lower part of my stomach, laying on my side, that happens to be the side which we both are sharing, means that im in for a long night of shoves! Fernando gets a kick out of how active our baby is, we think its a boy because of all of this movement! Even though my baby belly is the one taking all of the beatings, it is just a constant reminder that our little one is getting big and stronger as each day goes by!

A New Country, Amazing Food!
Growing up with 3 sisters and 1 brother has always been such an amazing experience for me! Always having someone to play with, shop with, an older brother to look up to, and never having a dull moment are things that I have always cherished!
I always thought that learning to love my sisters boyfriends was a lot easier than learning to love my brothers girlfriend. However, I was wrong, my brothers girlfriend Nadja has stolen his heart and made all of our hearts a lot bigger with her in them now!
For the past 2 months my brother has been in Sweden, staying with Nadja and her family. Learning the different traditions, exploring the country, taking trips and best of all, eating the amazing food! While Nadja lived here for the past 2 years, our family has seen them be the amazing chefs that they are, and have happily been the taste testers!
Now this is how the Swedish eat, while we are thousands of miles away drooling over the beautiful pictures they send to share with us!
Fresh Bread!
Gorgeous Salad!
Pile of steak and potato gratin!

Thinking Ahead of Time
The thought of having a girl or a boy is always on my mind. I know that most people have names picked out for either gender, already know what their nursery is going to look like, and basically have the whole thing planned out down to the very last detail. I am not really focusing on the names at this moment because I just end up getting worked up about the entire thing, and Fernando and I just start throwing out funny and awkward names to one another! I have been thinking about my nursery theme though, that is the one thing that I am for sure about so far!
I love how adorable owls are!! They just make me heart melt when I see the different types of designs that there are! I don't want any colors that are over powering but just cute and subtle!
If we have a girl, I want the colors to be a light pink or purple with grey incorporated into it! Something along the lines of this!
If we have a boy then of course I want either light green or blue with grey as well!
This pregnancy has been so amazing so far, I just am so excited because I know that it is going to continue to get so much better!

Kick in the Butt!
Wow what a week that I have had! Let me just say people, when I decided to try out online classes this semester I thought it was going to be a piece of cake! Umm that is not the case! I feel like I am going crazy with the amount of reading that I am needing to do just to keep up, and I love reading!!! So hopefully I will get this school thing under control soon and actually get to enjoy my free time again!
Guess what?!?! I am now 4 months and 1 day pregnant with our beautiful, or handsome, little baby! I feel like the time has gone by fast, but no matter what week of my pregnancy I am in time goes by in slow motion! Oh well, I don't want to rush my pregnancy, I am already enjoying it so much and I am only in the beginning of my second trimester!
I went to the doctors on Monday for a routine check up and I was so excited to hear the heartbeat I didn't think my day could have gotten any better! But it did! When we were listening to the fast little flutter of our baby I was able to hear it moving around in me so fast! It made a little swoosh noise and thats all I needed, to know that our baby was right on track!
Less then a month away we will know what out little one is! I know that I am going to make time go by slow because of how often I think about 10/10/11! Will it be a boy, or a girl?!?!

Mothers of Multiples!
Today was on the path of being another blah day and I was on auto-drive for the most part! When I least expected it, it turned out to be eye opening for me.
I was helping out a member with her account and she stated that she worked for a non-profit organization, so I asked her what is was all about. She works for Broomfields local mothers of multiples club! I thought wow, that is so neat! So I started talking about how I was pregnant with my first and how I was hoping for having multiples but was blessed this time around with a singleton. This woman was the mother of 11 month old triplets! Talk about being lucky!!
The organization has a sale twice a year that sells used baby goods, they try to help out mothers in all possible ways including monthly meeting/support groups! For the next sale, I plan on attending with our month old little bundle of joy next March! I know that this group is putting their used goods towards such a great cause because they are already a group of great mothers!
For this post I just wanted to recognize all of the mothers of multiples and just say that you are all troopers!!!
-As a side note,so are all the moms and dads out there!

Taking a Chance With Dinner!
Today started off with tons of homework that needed to be completed... and I am still working on that. Let me just say as a side note that reading really makes me hungry, even if I just recently ate! Dinner was the last thing on my mind, but when Fernando came home early I felt bad because he had been cooking dinner for us the last couple of nights.
All Recipes is such a great website that I turn to when I am in a rush and want a home cooked meal. I have never made, let alone ate cheddar cheese covered chicken and rice casserole but for some crazy reason I was craving it right that moment! Let me just say that it was a complete success and I plan on putting this dinner into the recipe book!
Fernando had never ate it either so I was worried that he wasn't going to like this new dinner choice of mine so I decided to make a back-up plan. You can never go wrong with chocolate chip cookies! I guess I'll have to wait to enjoy them with Fernando because I think my dinner knocked him straight into nap mode!

Too Soon to Tell!
Being so early in this pregnancy has really tested my patience. Not knowing if we are going to be expecting a little handsome man or an adorable little lady has really gotten the best of me! I have to say what a trooper to my mother and grandmother were for never being able to find out early due to the time of their pregnancies. I doubt I would have been able to do the same! I feel like a little kid that is waiting for santa to bring me my gift but the date just keeps getting pushed further and further back! I think that I am going to pull out my hair one of these days... very soon!
I have always loved my shopping trips, even if the items aren't for myself. The joy of being able to pick whatever I want and be able to see in worn, played with, put to good use or just adored, has always given me such great satisfaction! Now I feel completely different about these money hogging trips.
I get that I am able to purchase neutral colors for our little one, greens, browns, light blues, yellow and white. To me however, that just takes all the fun out of shopping for my first baby. I want to be able to pick up that handsome varsity cardigan, or that adorable purple and pink tutu, but instead I get to pick out neutral colored items.
Today however, I was able to fulfill a little morsal of my satisfaction when I picked out these adorable little moccasins, that can be worn my our soon-to-be little man or little lady!
