Life as a Blurr!

These past few weeks have passed by my eyes in such a blur that I cant comprehend how I am still standing! Here is my last couple of weeks summed up for you all!

Update on our craft day: I was going to make the chalkboard name tags...that never happened like I had planned...sorry! I was so caught up in making these adorable hats and gloves with my family that I decided to do the name tags another time. Here are a few that I made!

School is almost over for the semester, just 2 more weeks! I cant express how thrilled I am to be away from books and class discussions! Although I know this break will fly by I plan on enjoying every second of it!

Thanksgiving was AMAZING! I had this thought that I could eat as much as I wanted due to the fact that Im pregnant, but I found that it was harder than I thought! Our little girl was taking up all the space that I could have fit more food into! We had two dinners so I did eat more than I thought I could. Plus leftovers, I think I'm set till Christmas!

 All I know is that our baby girl is growing so fast and I couldn't be more happier about it! Only 2 months and 1 week until my due date! We are thinking of naming her Aleena!

Note for pregnant mothers to be: Black Friday and large stomaches equals a rough shopping trip! Although we did find some killer deals on diapers and some household items, if I'm ever pregnant again during Black Friday madness I will happily skip it!

New Ideas Coming My Way!

I have found myself to be in a bit of a fog lately. I feel like I never have anything exciting happening and I just feel the need to find a hobby. Everyone has a hobby, nope not me, I have never been able to find my edge that makes me me. Well its time for a change, and I need to be the one that makes my hobby fit my own needs!

It just so happens that my niece, nephews, and little sister (with the help of their mothers) have entered to be in a craft fair and have been busy making little knick knacks to sell in a couple of weeks.

While eating my delicious dinner tonight, I decided that this would be the perfect opportunity for me to get my creative flow going! I plan on making these cute holiday chalkboard name tags that you could use for your Christmas gifts! Im super excited to get these done this weekend, so make sure you come back to check out my finished products!

My Fave Maternity Jeans!

Shopping for maternity clothes in general has not been a fun experience for me. Let alone buying maternity jeans just to see how big my butt has really grown. Well that was my train of thought before I found these amazing low elastic band maternity jeans at Forever21!

The fit is perfect, the price is right, I've been wearing them since I was 2 months pregnant, and best of all they fit my style perfectly!!! I don't want this pregnancy to take away my personal choice in style, so these allow me to still feel and look like my pre-pregnancy self!! I wish I would have bought more than one pair at the time, but be sure that I will be back! What can I say, Im a skinny jeans type of gal!

A Hamburger Gal: Just Maybe

Dinner was amazing tonight! All thanks to Fernando and his amazing grill skills!! You see, I've never been much of a hamburger type of gal, but after tonight I believe I have changed my mind!

I guess you could just say that some deliciously sauteed mushrooms,lettuce, tomatoes, and some dijon mustard seem to make my mouth water over the idea of eating a hamburger!

Plus a side of calabacitas (squash and corn) make everything that much better!!
Thank you Fernando for an amazing dinner, me and our baby girl enjoyed every last bite!!

A Little Help Please!!

I guess since I don't have experience with preparing for a little one I have tons of questions. Questions that I should know but forget to ask. Questions I look up on Google, but don't trust the answers given to me.

So here is where you all fall into play, load me up with your advice!!! Please tell me your hidden secrets and the ways you prepared for your child(den)!! Don't be shy!!! I want to see what cool tricks you all have up your sleeves!!

1. When did you start shopping?
2. How did you decide what to shop for first? Diapers vs. Adorable outfit?!
3. How soon did you have your baby shower? It did you wait till the last minute?
4. What items are okay for hand-me-downs, and which ones need to be bought new?
5. When is too early to set up the nursery?
6. Parenting classes..are they worth it?
7. Is a birth plan a must?
8. What types of meals did you make to be frozen when it was time to welcome your little one into this world?
9. Is it worth it to overthink EVERYTHING??
10. What did you pack in your hospital bag? Food included!

Free Time Means???

All week long Fernando and I are busy doing one thing or another. Its rare for us to be able to just have a day to ourselves between the days Monday and Friday. For me, Saturday is a work day so I don't really get the typical weekend break but im not complaining. When I do have a day to myself, no homework, work, or planned events,

like Sunday, I never know what to do with my time! Its like I screw myself over and make a mental list of the many honey-do things that I could just ignore. I use to ignore them, why can't I anymore? I think that this baby girl inside of me is acting as an inner clock for me. "The cleaning, organizing, and planning needs to be done now, not later", thats what she is telling me lately, and I have a feeling that its not going to go away! So I guess i'll have to get use to this busy, busy, busy schedule of mine! Bring it on!
